A period tracker for couples
Most period trackers are built for one person. Ovulyx is built for two: you keep your cycle, your partner gets the part that helps them support you, and neither of you has to guess.
In short
- You track your cycle as usual – period, mood, symptoms, energy.
- Ovulyx predicts your period, PMS days and fertile window from your own entries.
- Your partner sees the current phase and what might help today – not your diary.
- Everything shared is your choice, per person and per entry.
Why a tracker for two?
A cycle changes more than the calendar. Energy, patience and appetite for plans move with the phases, and partners often notice the effect without knowing the cause. That is where misunderstandings start: “Why are you so quiet?” – “Because it's that time again.”
A shared view turns that guesswork into something you can plan around. You see what is ahead; your partner sees enough to be considerate, without reading your private notes.
What you track
- Period, flow and pain, plus symptoms with their intensity
- Mood, energy and notes in a daily diary, with basal body temperature if you use it
- Reminders for the period, the diary or contraception, at the days and times you choose
- Month and cycle overviews that show phase, feeling and symptoms at a glance

What your partner sees
The Partner tab shows exactly what the people you share with see: which phase it is, what is coming next and what might help today. Under “Share more detail” everything starts private, and you decide whether to share exact days or only the pattern of a phase.
- Your mood of the day with one tap, such as “Need some quiet”
- One-tap reactions in return: “I made you tea”, “I was thinking of you” – and you can answer right away
- A list of what helps you in each phase, which your partner can learn from
- Shared appointments, reminders and to-dos for two
A day in practice
Morning: you open Ovulyx and see that you are in the luteal phase and that your period is due in a few days. You tap “Need some quiet” as today's mood. In the afternoon your partner opens the Partner tab, sees the phase and your mood, and decides to cook instead of suggesting a night out. In the evening a one-tap reaction – “I made you tea” – arrives, and you answer with a heart.
Nothing in that exchange required a long conversation, and nothing private was shared. That is the whole idea: small signals, shared on purpose.
Predictions that learn from you
Ovulyx estimates your period, PMS days and fertile window from the cycles you log, and it keeps learning: your real period length and day-by-day symptoms feed back into the next prediction. That works with irregular cycles too, though the forecast is naturally less certain then. Predictions are statistical estimates and not a medical assessment.
A good first week
Log your period and a few diary entries, invite your partner, and share only your daily mood at first. You can open up more later, one setting at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Does my partner need the app too?
To see your phase and reactions, your partner connects in Ovulyx. One subscription covers you and one partner connection; more connections can be added.
Can my partner read my diary?
No. Private notes always stay private. Your partner sees only what you choose to share, and sharing starts switched off.
What if my cycle is irregular?
You can still log and see patterns. Predictions are less precise with irregular cycles, and Ovulyx learns from your entries over time.
Is Ovulyx a medical device or a contraceptive?
No. Ovulyx does not replace medical advice and must not be used as a method of contraception.
Which devices does Ovulyx run on?
Ovulyx runs on Android and in any modern browser at app.ovulyx.com. You use the same account in both.
Do we both need to track our cycle?
No. Only the person with the cycle needs to log. The partner connects to see what has been shared and can send reactions.
This page offers general information about the app. It does not provide a diagnosis and does not replace medical advice.
