Ovulation and fertile window tracker
Whether you want to understand your cycle, plan around it or just feel less surprised, the fertile window is a useful part of the picture. Ovulyx shows it as an estimate based on what you log.
In short
- Ovulyx estimates ovulation and the fertile window from your logged cycles.
- You can add basal body temperature to your diary.
- The calendar shows each phase at a glance.
- Estimates only – Ovulyx is not a method of contraception.
What the fertile window is
Around ovulation there are a few days on which pregnancy is possible. Because ovulation does not always happen on the same day, a calendar can only give an estimate, and it gets better the more cycles you log.
How Ovulyx shows it
- A cycle ring and a month calendar with the phases, including the fertile window
- A look-ahead that explains what comes next, phase by phase
- Predictions that adapt to your real cycle lengths
- Moon phases in the calendar, if you like to see them

Add your own signs
The diary has room for basal body temperature, flow, pain and symptoms. Those entries help you notice your own patterns, and the Insights screen shows cycle length and how close past predictions were.
Reading the cycle calendar
Ovulyx divides your cycle into phases. Menstruation is the start, with bleeding. The follicular phase follows, as the body prepares for ovulation. Ovulation is the short time around the release of an egg, and the luteal phase leads up to the next period, often with the days that bring PMS.
Each phase has its own colour in the calendar, and tapping a day shows what to expect. That makes it easy to see where you are in the cycle without reading a chart.
Doing it together
If you choose to share, your partner sees the phase and understands why some days are different. If you are trying to conceive, you can turn on the cycle mode that puts the fertile window and ovulation first.
A necessary note
Ovulyx is not a contraceptive and not a medical device. Statistical predictions can be wrong, especially with irregular cycles. If preventing pregnancy matters, please use a recognised method and ask a doctor.
Better estimates
Log your period start every cycle and add basal body temperature or symptoms if you can. More data makes the forecast fit you better.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the fertile window prediction?
It is an estimate from your own history. It is more reliable with regular cycles and enough logged data, and less so with irregular ones.
Can I use Ovulyx to avoid pregnancy?
No. Ovulyx is not a contraceptive. Predictions can be wrong.
Can I track basal body temperature?
Yes, as a diary entry next to symptoms, mood and flow.
Does my partner see my fertile window?
Only if you share it. Sharing is your decision, per person.
How many cycles does Ovulyx need for a reliable estimate?
Predictions begin with your first logged data and improve with every cycle. Several cycles give a more reliable picture, especially if your cycle length varies.
Why can the estimate change from one cycle to the next?
Because cycles themselves change. Stress, illness, travel and many other things can shift ovulation, and Ovulyx adapts as new entries arrive.
